This session probably lasted a total of 30 minutes and within the first 5 minutes of the first shot I took (1st pic above), it started to rain. Yup, a full down pour which forced us inside but her mommy and I were determined to get something. We waited about 5-10 minutes and the rain let up but never really stopped so we made the best of it. We headed back outside… sprinkling & then another full down pour towards the end. She was such a doll and I’m just glad she wasn’t a little diva and didn’t mind getting a little wet. She actually loved the rain which made those curly locks of hers even more beautiful. I however have major issues when I get my hair wet (think chia pets! lol…) but that’s a whole other blog post!!

I’ve got so much more to share and I just know that one of these days, I’ll catch up on this blog and post all the sessions I haven’t even had a chance to blog yet. The Fall season is sneaking up on us so be sure to book early to ensure a spot for those Christmas pictures! Yes, I just said Christmas in August

I had so much fun with these two…..can you tell? I would have kept them all day if I could have! So beautiful and sweet and I can’t wait to show their mommy & daddy the rest. Thank you guys for bringing your precious little ones to me and as I always say…for trusting me with these precious memories.

To the one’s you love this Holiday Season!! I wanted to pop in to share some favs from one of my last sessions of ’09. She was the cutest thing ever and I’m almost certain I told her mama that over and over again! I just love the very first image in this post and how she would snuggle up to herself. She was such a good baby and yes, she gave me a little baby fever all over again! lol…

I also wanted to let you know that I’m taking some time away for the holidays to spend with my family and will be back to blogging and accepting appointments again on January 11th. I want to thank all my wonderful clients for a fabulous 2009 and I can’t wait to see you again in 2010!!

this baby was super sleepy at just nine days old…..loved this session and wanted to share a couple.

and this is him saying “who are you?”

This past week was a whirlwind for me & a big blur if I might add….an entire week with three kids by myself, talk about crazy BUT…I survived it!! We will be heading out of town this week for a little family time so I will be back next week & hopefully I can share some halfway decent pictures of our family. Have a great week everyone and try not to toast in this heat! (that is if you live in good ole Texas or anywhere else where it’s over 100 degrees daily -:)

Is anyone still here reading this dusty blog?? Bless you to the readers I may still have out there!! My last blog entry was just a few days before Mother’s Day and I apologize for not updating everyone on who I picked for the free family session. That was my plan…that was until on the morning of Mother’s Day, Austin woke up with a fever of 101 and so it began….after taking him to the doc and finding out he had strep throat, he got to spend the following week with me at home so work had to be pushed aside which meant sessions needed to be rescheduled and no time for blogging! Good news is just a few days after getting him on some medication, he was feeling much better and it didn’t go three rounds this time!!

Ok….so I did pick a winner for the free family session and the winning mom was Christina! Congrats to their family and I can’t wait to plan out our session. A big thank you to everyone who commented…it was a hard decision for me and just know that I wanted to give it to all of you! I’ve got some sessions to make up and some new ones as well, so I will do my best to blog lots more in the coming weeks. Here is one that was not cancelled and I’m so glad……this family was super sweet and lots of fun. Big brother wasn’t too sure about me and I don’t think he ever really warmed up until I was walking away and saying good bye to them! lol…..
