My babies are growing up! Avery just turned 7yrs in January and the boys will be 6yrs in just a couple of weeks. Where has the time gone?? I can still remember each of them at the newborn stage and all of those crazy sleepless nights, waking up with bags under our eyes! lol…  These pics were taken back in January on a warm Winter day…ok so  it wasn’t that warm but compared to the crazy Winter weather we were having at the time, I would say it was a pretty nice day! I can’t tell you how happy I am that they actually gave me some images that I can print and display on my walls. I love that the boys actually listened to me when I said to “kiss Avery” and that I have pictures of Avery with her toothless smile b/c they’ve already grown back in. They make me happy everytime I look at them

On another note, SPRING is here! Thank Goodness………This is the best time to get outdoors for pictures so be sure to reserve your session before the REAL heat is upon us!

She is just too cute for words!! I love these so much and it was worth the 50+ chigger bites I got….yeah, talk about m.i.s.e.r.a.b.l.e.  A special thanks to her mama for always trusting me and my “bright” ideas! lol…

This session probably lasted a total of 30 minutes and within the first 5 minutes of the first shot I took (1st pic above), it started to rain. Yup, a full down pour which forced us inside but her mommy and I were determined to get something. We waited about 5-10 minutes and the rain let up but never really stopped so we made the best of it. We headed back outside… sprinkling & then another full down pour towards the end. She was such a doll and I’m just  glad she wasn’t a little diva and didn’t mind getting a little wet.  She actually loved the rain which made those curly locks of hers even more beautiful.  I however have major issues when I get my hair wet (think chia pets! lol…) but that’s a whole other blog post!!

I’ve got so much more to share and I just know that one of these days, I’ll catch up on this blog and post all the sessions I haven’t even had a chance to blog yet. The Fall season is sneaking up on us so be sure to book early to ensure a spot for those Christmas pictures! Yes, I just said Christmas in August

I had so much fun with these two…..can you tell? I would have kept them all day if I could have! So beautiful and sweet and I can’t wait to show their mommy & daddy the rest. To the one’s you love this Holiday Season!! I wanted to pop in  to share some favs from one of my last sessions of ’09. She was the cutest thing ever and I’m almost certain I told her mama that over and over again!  I just love the very first image in this post and how she would snuggle up to herself. She was such a good baby and yes, she gave me a little baby fever all over again!  lol…

I also wanted to let you know that I’m taking some time away for the holidays to spend with my family and will be back to blogging and accepting appointments again on January 11th. I want to thank all my wonderful clients for a fabulous 2009 and I can’t wait to see you again in 2010!!
