One little teaser here, just look at those cute puppy dog eyes…. how do her parents ever tell her “no”.

My last post was days before our first born was heading to Kindergarten and since then she has already grown so independent it makes me want to cry…both happy & sad tears! The first day went great and I managed to make it through without shedding any tears (that day anyway!). I think we were so busy trying to make sure she was okay and getting her to class on time with everything she needed, that I didn’t have time to be an emotional wreck. I did however manage to catch some sort of stomach virus or food poison (still not sure..) her first week of school. I felt so bad that the next day, even though I was feeling a little better, I didn’t have it in me to walk her to class that day so I did the only thing that I could do which was to DROP HER OFF AT THE CURB in front of the school. This horrified me and I clearly was not ready to do this the first week of school b/c as she got out and started to walk away, I couldn’t help but start to cry. It still brings tears to my eyes thinking back to that day and how she walked herself in like such a big girl with no fears or worries. So just after a month of school, our baby girl isn’t such a “baby” anymore, but of course she will always be to us.
Here is a recent picture of her I took at her game last weekend….yes, she’s a cheerleader…for now anyway! She already told me on the way home from her first game “you might need to pull me out b/c cheerleading is hard work”…..such a funny girl

This was taken days before the flu got a hold of her, she was perfectly well that entire weekend and woke up Monday morning with 101 fever! Thank goodness she is better now and back to her crazy self. As usual, hoping that the boys don’t start showing the symptoms…I’m on guard with Tamiflu!!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend….check back soon for holiday schedule updates and information. Yes, it’s that time of year again!

I love this picture of him….such a boy! I know he will be such a great big brother and protect & love his new baby sis! I’ve got lots to catch up on and I apologize for not updating the blog sooner. So many things to do and so little time so unfortunatley my blog has taken a back seat. Not sure how many of you know but SCHOOL IS STARTING SOON and our baby girl will start Kindergarten this year….oh lord, please help me to not be a blubbering idiot the first day
Stay tuned for more on that…..in just 3 more days!!!
this baby was super sleepy at just nine days old…..loved this session and wanted to share a couple.

and this is him saying “who are you?”

This past week was a whirlwind for me & a big blur if I might add….an entire week with three kids by myself, talk about crazy BUT…I survived it!! We will be heading out of town this week for a little family time so I will be back next week & hopefully I can share some halfway decent pictures of our family. Have a great week everyone and try not to toast in this heat! (that is if you live in good ole Texas or anywhere else where it’s over 100 degrees daily -:)
When I wake up each morning, I go upstairs to start my day and work a little while it’s still quiet in the house. I start out by checking emails, check voicemails, & “the most important”…. take a stroll over to all of my favorite blogs (which is a very long list btw & too many to list!). I have so many blogs that I love to read and most of them have to do with photography. So this morning as I was looking at one of my favorite blogs, Avery came up the steps to see what I was doing ( which is what she does every morning). She usually starts to get upset b/c #1. her daddy is gone to work and didn’t wake her at 5am to say goodbye or #2. mommy is already on the computer and she wants my 100% attention the minute she lays her eyes on me. So this morning as she came up the steps, she started to get that little whine in her voice but this time as she approached me & my computer she saw something different on my screen. It wasn’t pictures of babies or kids or weddings (the usual )……nope……it was pictures of her favorite animal in the whole world. She lit up when she saw all of these amazing pictures of the cutest dogs doing some pretty funny things…..and really, I can’t blame her. This photographer is out of this world awesome at what she does and will make any dog lover smile and giggle. I just had to share her site with you and hopefully, it will put a smile on your face too!
also, received this clients order in and this was one they ordered…..I loved it too and had to share!

love his glare…..such a cute baby boy!

This was her favorite position so we took full advantage…..

these were all taken when baby abigail was three weeks. She was such a trooper and after much work from mommy….she finally drifted off to sleep! I’ve really enjoyed photographing newborns lately and I’ve gotten so much inspiration through Carrie Sandoval and Brittany Woodall. If you haven’t seen either of their work, you must!! There is no other like it….
